The closure of the second textile plant in Naousa follows the closure of other plants belonging to the Lanara group, which having received tens of millions of euros in public (and Community?) funding and state-guaranteed loans, are now laying off massive sections of their workforce and relocating their production plant to other countries.
De sluiting van de tweede productie-eenheid van de garenfabriek van Naoussa volgt op de sluiting van andere eenheden van de Lanara-groep, die, na overheids- (en communautaire?) subsidies en leningen met overheidsdekking ten belope van vele tientallen miljoenen te hebben ontvangen, nu op grote schaal personeel ontslaat en productie-eenheden naar andere landen verplaatst.
