The optimisation shall include the selection of equipment, the consistent production of adequate diagnostic information or therapeutic outcomes, the practical aspects of medical exposure procedures, quality assurance, including appropriate staff training , and the assessment and evaluation of patient and staff doses or administered activities, taking into account economic and social factors.
