Member States shall ensure that the optimisation includes the selection of equipment, the consistent production of adequate diagnostic information or therapeutic outcomes, the practical aspects of medical radiological procedures, quality assurance, and the assessment and evaluation of patient doses or the verification of administered activities, taking into account economic and societal factors.
4. De lidstaten zorgen ervoor dat de optimalisatie de keuze van de apparatuur, de constante productie van adequate diagnostische informatie of behandelingsresultaten omvat, alsmede de praktische aspecten van medisch-radiologische procedures, de kwaliteitsborging, en de beoordeling en evaluatie van patiëntdoses of de controle van toegediende hoeveelheden alsmede de bijbehorende personeelsdoses, met inachtneming van economische en sociale factoren.
