7. The World Renewable Energy Conference, to be held in Bonn in June 2004, will address the promotion of renewable energy across the globe as a means to combat climate change, promote the security of energy supply and - notably for developing countries - reduce poverty.

7. Op de Wereldconferentie over hernieuwbare energie, die in juni 2004 te Bonn zal plaatsvinden, zal van gedachten worden gewisseld over de bevordering van hernieuwbare energie wereldwijd als middel ter bestrijding van de klimaatverandering, ter bevordering van een continue energievoorziening en - met name ten behoeve van de ontwikkelingslanden - om de armoede terug te dringen.
