G. considerando che, a causa dell'urbanizzazione della nostra società, i cittadini dell'Unione sono meno a contatto con le foreste e conoscono poco l'economia forestale e i suoi effetti sul benessere, l'occupazione, il clima, l'ambiente, la salute umana, la catena di creazione del valore nel suo complesso e il nesso con gli ecosistemi più ampi;
G. whereas, owing to the urbanisation of our society, EU citizens feel less of a connection to the forest, and have little knowledge of forestry or of its impact on prosperity, jobs, climate, environment, human health and the whole value chain together with the link with the wider ecosystems;
