59. chiede alla Commissione di modificare le direttive europee concernenti l'olio combustibile pesante solforato n. 2, il cui uso è vietato nell'Unione, benché si continui a produrlo e trasportarlo in Europa e nei suoi porti e ad esportarlo verso altri paesi quale fonte energetica; rivendica pertanto l'interdizione della produzione di questo tipo di idrocarburo;
59. Calls upon the Commission to amend the EU directives relating to sulphured heavy fuel No 2, which is banned from use within the EU but which is nonetheless produced in, and transported through, Europe and its ports and is exported to other countries as an energy source; calls, therefore, for the production of this type of hydrocarbon to be banned;
