2. Una persona che risiede o dimora in uno Stato membro diverso dallo Stato membro competente e ha subito un infortunio sul lavoro o ha contratto una malattia professionale ha diritto alle prestazioni in natura speciali secondo il regime degli infortuni sul lavoro e delle malattie professionali erogate, per conto dell'istituzione competente, dall'istituzione del luogo di residenza o di dimora ai sensi della legislazione che essa applica, come se l'interessato fosse assicurato in virtù di detta legislazione.
2. A person who has sustained an accident at work or has contracted an occupational disease and who resides or stays in a Member State other than the competent Member State shall be entitled to the special benefits in kind of the scheme covering accidents at work and occupational diseases provided, on behalf of the competent institution, by the institution of the place of residence or stay in accordance with the legislation which it applies, as though he/she were insured under the said legislation.
