3. esorta il Presidente dell'Autorità palestinese, Mahmoud Abbas, ad agevolare in tempi brevi la formazione di un nuovo governo che, sulle orme del precedente, si impegni al rispetto dei principi democratici e al rifiuto della violenza e sia disposto a conseguire una soluzione negoziata del conflitto con mezzi pacifici; sottolinea che il nuovo governo andrà giudicato non in base a ciò che ha fatto in passato ma a ciò che farà;

Urges the President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, to favour the prompt formation of a new government which, in line with the previous one, should be committed to respect for democratic principles, the rejection of violence and a willingness to achieve a negotiated solution of the conflict by peaceful means; underlines that the new government must be judged not by its past but by its future deeds;
