Nella dichiarazione inviata al Consiglio dei governatori dell’AIEA, l’UE ha inoltre notato con crescente preoccupazione che l’Iran continuava a ignorare le richieste obbligatorie del Consiglio di Sicurezza delle Nazioni Unite, evidenziando che, come riferito dall’AIEA, l’Iran stava proseguendo le proprie attività di arricchimento e di costruzione del reattore ad acqua pesante di Arak.
In the statement sent to the IAEA Board of Governors, the EU also noted with mounting concern that Iran was continuing to flout the UNSC’s mandatory demands, stressing that, as the IAEA reported, Iran was still carrying out enrichment activities and constructing the heavy-water reactor at Arak.
