Un abitante di Bhopal, Abdul Jabbar Kahn, che dirige in questa città l’Associazione industriale delle donne vittime del gas, ha fatto queste dichiarazioni a un quotidiano del Regno Unito, il Guardian : “A New York, dopo l’11 settembre, in pochi mesi sono giunti risarcimenti, sanzioni e il ripristino del sito; a Bhopal, dopo vent’anni, non abbiamo visto ancora nulla”.
Bhopal resident, Abdul Jabbar Khan, who runs the Bhopal Women Gas Victims' Industrial Association, said in the Guardian newspaper in the UK: 'In New York after 9/11 there was compensation, punishment and clean-up in just a few months. In Bhopal, after 20 years, we have nothing'.
