gli importi disponibili nell'ambito dello strumento di cooperazione allo sviluppo per il Brasile devono essere utilizzati per iniziative atte a sostenere il paese nella lotta contro la povertà e nel conseguimento degli OSM, nonché per altre misure identificabili come aiuti effettivi allo sviluppo, ad esempio nel settore ambientale; aa) vanno rafforzati i dialoghi esistenti e vanno avviati nuovi dialoghi settoriali, segnatamente su ambiente e sviluppo sostenibile, energia, trasporti, sicurezza alimentare, scienza e tecnologia, società dell'informazione, occupazione e questioni sociali, finanza e macroeconomia, sviluppo regionale, cultura e istruzione;
ab) il partenariato strategico ...[+++] deve incoraggiare i contatti tra le organizzazioni della società civile, le imprese e gli organi rappresentativi delle parti sociali e promuovere gli scambi nel campo dell'istruzione e della cultura; ac) le azioni a favore del partenariato politico, della conoscenza e comprensione reciproche e dei programmi di scambio UE-Brasile devono essere finanziati attraverso uno strumento diverso dallo strumento per il finanziamento della cooperazione allo sviluppo; ad) il partenariato strategico deve prevedere l'instaurazione di un dialogo strutturato regolare tra i membri del Congresso nazionale brasiliano e del Parlamento europeo; ae) va previsto che le istituzioni dell'Unione europea e il governo del Brasile forniscano un'informazione regolare ed esaustiva al Parlamento europeo e a EuroLat sullo stato del partenariato strategico; the amount available under the Development Cooperation Instrument (DCI) for Brazil must be used for measures to support Brazil in its fight against poverty and to achieve the MDGs and other measures that can be considered as genuine development assistance, for instance in the environmental sector; (aa) existing dialogues should be reinforced, and fresh sectoral dialogues should be launched, namely on the environment and sustainable development, energy, transport, food security, science and technology, the information society, employment and social issues, finance and macro-economics, regional development, culture and e
ducation; (ab) the Strategic Partnership should ...[+++]encourage contacts between civil society organisations, business and social partners' fora, and should promote exchanges on an educational and cultural level; (ac) actions in favour of the EU-Brazil political partnership, mutual awareness and understanding and exchange programmes should be financed from an instrument other than the DCI; (ad) the Strategic Partnership should provide for the establishment of a regular structured dialogue between the Members of the Brazilian National Congress and Members of the European Parliament; (ae) provision should be made for the institutions of the EU and the Government of Brazil to provide the European Parliament and EuroLat with regular and detailed information on the state of play of the Strategic Partnership;
