Occorre pertanto che ogni interessato abbia il diritto di conoscere e ottenere comunicazioni specie in relazione alla finalità del trattamento, alla base giuridica, al periodo di conservazione e ai destinatari, anche nei paesi terzi. Deve avere anche informazioni chiare sulla ratio sottesa a ogni trattamento automatizzato e sulla rilevanza dei risultati per esso previsti nonché il diritto di proporre reclamo all'autorità di controllo e di avere i dati per contattarla .
Every data subject should therefore have the right to know about and obtain communication in particular of the purposes for which the data are processed, the legal basis, for what period, which recipients receive the data, including in third countries, the intelligible information about the logic involved in any automated processing and its significant and envisaged consequences if applicable, and the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority and its contact details.
