Le attività di leasing finanziario sono contratti in base ai quali il proprietario di un bene durevole, di seguito il «concedente» concede tale bene a un terzo, di seguito il «concessionario», per tutta, o quasi, la vita economica del bene stesso, in cambio di un canone periodico che copre il costo connesso al bene e a un determinato tasso di interesse.
Financial leases are contracts whereby the legal owner of a durable good (hereinafter the ‘lessor’) lends these assets to a third party (hereinafter the ‘lessee’) for most if not all of the economic lifetime of the assets, in exchange for instalments covering the cost of the good plus an imputed interest charge.
