I test effettuati e riportati nella Relazione del TWG8, anche se non esistono studi sul suo potenziale cancerogeno diretto e se il paragone con l'1,2 dimetilidrazina può essere discutibile, sono abbastanza documentati per poter accettare l'inclusione di questa sostanza nell'elenco dei Cancerogeni, pur non ignorando il fatto che il prodotto ha una molteplicità di usi che estenderà in modo significativo il numero di siti interessati dalla Direttiva.
Even though there are no studies on its direct carcinogenic potential and the comparison with 1.2-Dimnethylhydrazine is questionable, the tests carried out and detailed in the TWG 8 report nonetheless provide sufficient evidence for the substance to be included in the list of carcinogens, notwithstanding the fact that it has a wide variety of uses and will increase significantly the number of plants covered by the Directive.
