The proposal is fully consistent with the objectives and aims of the Commission's Sustainable Consumption and Production / Sustainable Industrial Policy Communication and Action Plan, the European Union Sustainable Development Strategy, the Lisbon Strategy, the Community Sixth Environmental Action Programme[11], the Integrated Product Policy[12] and Natural Resource Strategy.
Het voorstel is volledig verenigbaar met de doelstellingen van de mededeling en de actieplannen van de Commissie inzake duurzame productie en consumptie en een duurzaam industriebeleid, de strategie voor duurzame ontwikkeling van de Europese Unie, de strategie van Lissabon, het zesde milieuactieprogramma van de Gemeenschap[11], het geïntegreerd productbeleid[12] en de strategie inzake natuurlijke hulpbronnen.
