2. The sampling points for fixed measurements of ozone in each zone or agglomeration within which measurement is the sole source of information for assessing air quality shall not be less than the minimum number of sampling points specified in Section A of Annex IX.

None of Belgium’s three regions has defined minimum qualification requirements for personnel involved in the recovery, recycling, reclamation and destruction of ozone depleting substances, as the regulation requires by 31 December 2001.

In addition, the Regulation obliges Member States to respect other reporting requirements, including providing information on annual leak checks (for equipment containing more than 3 kg of ozone depleting substances), submitting data on the minimum qualification requirements for all personnel involved and communicating details on the quantities of controlled substances that have been recovered, recycled, reclaimed or destroyed.
