2.3. In the case of a vehicle which is fitted with tyres which are not motorcycle tyres, passenger car tyres or commercial vehicle tyres, due to special conditions of use (e.g. agricultural tyres, industrial truck tyres, all terrain vehicle tyres), the requirements of Annex II do not apply, provided that the approval authority is satisfied that the tyres fitted are suitable for the operating conditions of the vehicle.
2.3. Bij voertuigen waarop banden zijn gemonteerd die wegens bijzondere gebruiksomstandigheden geen banden voor personenauto's of voor bedrijfsauto's zijn (bijvoorbeeld banden voor gebruik in de landbouw, voor industriële vrachtwagens of voor terreinvoertuigen), zijn de voorschriften van bijlage II niet van toepassing, mits ten genoegen van de goedkeuringsinstantie is aangetoond dat de gemonteerde banden geschikt zijn voor de rijomstandigheden van het voertuig.
