1. In order to receive benefits under type A legislation under Article 44(2) of the basic Regulation, the claimant shall submit a claim to the institution of the Member State, whose legislation was applicable at the time when the incapacity for work occurred followed by invalidity or the aggravation of such invalidity, or to the institution of the place of residence, which shall forward the claim to the first institution.

Om in aanmerking te komen voor uitkeringen onder A-wetgevingen overeenkomstig artikel 44, lid 2, van de basisverordening, richt de aanvrager een aanvraag tot het orgaan van de lidstaat waarvan de wetgeving van toepassing was op het tijdstip waarop de arbeidsongeschiktheid met daaropvolgende invaliditeit is ontstaan of deze invaliditeit is verergerd of tot het orgaan van de woonplaats, dat de aanvraag aan eerstgenoemd orgaan doorzendt.
