Research will focus on: integrated design systems and processes for the realisation of the extended multi-site enterprise concept, as well as for more intelligent production technologies; new aircraft configurations, advanced aerodynamics, materials and structures, engine technologies; mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems; improved cabin-environmental conditions and utilisation of multimedia services to improve passenger comfort.
Het onderzoek wordt geconcentreerd op: geïntegreerde ontwerpsystemen en processen voor de realisering van het verruimde concept van op verschillende locaties gevestigde ondernemingen, alsook voor intelligentere productietechnologieën; nieuwe vliegtuigconfiguraties, geavanceerde aërodynamica, materialen en structuren, motortechnologieën; mechanische, elektrische en hydraulische systemen; verbeterde omgevingsfactoren in de cabine en gebruik van multimediadiensten ter verbetering van het comfort van de passagiers.
