The Committee is of the view that the information referred to in points (iii) and (iv) of Article 16, point c, of the proposal, namely the date of birth, national identity or passport number or number of the legal person in the business register, should always, if known, be communicated in order to raise the level of information necessary for the identification of the debtor's account, thus increasing the level of protection of the latter's rights.
De commissie meent dat de onder iii) en iv) van artikel 16, letter c, van het voorstel bedoelde gegevens (geboortedatum, nationaal identiteitsnummer of paspoortnummer, of het nummer van de rechtspersoon in het ondernemingenregister) altijd moeten worden meegedeeld om het niveau van de informatie die nodig is voor het identificeren van de rekening van de schuldenaar en dus van de rechtsbescherming van de schuldenaar te verhogen.
