Se i genitori dell'intervistato erano divorziati e l'affidamento era condiviso (eguale permanenza del minore presso ciascun genitore), l'intervistato deve scegliere la famiglia sulla base di criteri oggettivi, tenendo conto del suo indirizzo principale quando aveva all'incirca 14 anni (quello indicato nel registro anagrafico e/o sul suo passaporto o carta d'identità), o soggettivi, in funzione del luogo in cui si sentiva più a casa quando aveva all'incirca 14 anni.
If the parents of the respondent were divorced and shared custody (50 % of the time for each parent), the respondent should select his/her household either on an objective basis, taking into account his/her main address when he/she was around 14 years old (i.e. the one in the population register and/or in his/her identity card/passport), or on a subjective basis according to where he/she felt more at home when he/she was around 14 years old.
