In the area of simplification, the High Level Group proposed, inter alia, two legislative measures, introducing the possibility of manufacturers conducting approval tests themselves, i.e. to be designated as a technical service (‘self-testing’), and the possibility of using computer simulations instead of physical tests (‘virtual testing’).
Op het gebied van vereenvoudiging heeft de groep op hoog niveau onder andere twee wettelijke maatregelen voorgesteld, waarin de mogelijkheid wordt geboden dat fabrikanten zelf goedkeuringstests uitvoeren, d.w.z. worden aangewezen als technische dienst („zelftesten”), en dat in plaats van fysieke tests computersimulaties („virtueel testen”) worden gebruikt.
