Nel caso di LIFE+ sarebbe quindi più utile operare sulla base del modello che viene impiegato in Estonia ormai da molti anni: le sovvenzioni destinate alle attività rilevanti dal punto di vista della protezione della natura vengono distribuite per luogo di residenza, e il destinatario di una sovvenzione non deve per forza essere un proprietario terriero, ma può essere una persona che svolge un’attività importante ai fini della conservazione della natura.
In the case of LIFE +, it would therefore be more beneficial to operate on the basis of the model that has been used in Estonia for many years, that is, subsidies for activities of importance for nature protection are distributed by place of residence: the recipient of a subsidy does not have to be a landowner, but may be a person implementing an activity of importance for nature conservation.
