2. In caso di grave emergenza all’interno della Comunità o di imminente minaccia di tale eventualità che possono comportare una richiesta di assistenza da parte di uno o più Stati membri, lo Stato membro nel quale si è verificata l’emergenza ne dà immediatamente notizia alla Commissione, ove si preveda un’eventuale richiesta di aiuto tramite il MIC, in modo che la Commissione possa, ove necessario, informare gli altri Stati membri e attivare i servizi competenti.
2. In the event of a major emergency within the Community, or of an imminent threat thereof, which may result in a call for assistance from one or more Member States, the Member State in which the emergency has occurred shall, without delay, notify the Commission, when a possible request for assistance through the MIC can be anticipated, in order to enable the Commission, as appropriate, to inform the other Member States and activate its competent services.
