Giovedì 18 settembre 2003 nell’Hérault (Francia) si è verificato un grave incidente: un camion che trasportava 12.000 litri di acido tioglicolico prodotto dall’Atofina si è ribaltato nel fiume Illouvre che costeggia un tratto serpeggiante della strada statale 112 tra St. Pons de Thomières e St. Chinian.
On Thursday 18 September 2003, a serious accident happened in Hérault, in the South of France. A lorry carrying a load of 12 000 litres of thioglycollic acid, produced by Atofina, overturned and fell into the Illouvre river where it runs alongside a winding stretch of RN (national road) 112 between St Pons de Thomières and St Chinian.
